Kylie Kratt, from the University of Georgia Aviation club, provides us with some information about their spring fly-in:
“We will be hosting our second annual spring fly-in on April 30th at the Flight School of Athens at Athens-Ben Epps Airport where there will be food, music, a raffle, and a corn hole tournament.
We would love for the South Carolina Breakfast Club and Spartanburg aviation community to attend the event, and we were wondering if you wouldn’t mind sharing the event info with your community to help us spread the word.
The main purpose of the fly-in is to fund-raise and announce our student pilot scholarship winner. As you may know, the University of Georgia does not have an aviation program or university-sponsored flying club, so we are completely student-run. Last year we raised over $10,000 for the scholarship program and our winner just received his private pilot license a few weeks ago.
Here is a copy of our flyer for the event with all of the details listed above.
