From our President, Stoney Truett…
Results from the “Sunday or Saturday” poll have been a tie.
As a result, we have decided to use 2027 as a trial.
Wendy, our Secretary and Scheduler, will query each Airport as to their preference.
Our meetings will be moved to Saturdays only for those Airports who prefer to do so.
Otherwise, our meetings will remain on Sunday.
We have discussed the concerns we collectively have about moving some of the meetings to Saturday. Some of those concerns are (1) confusion about dates and (2) concurrent events conflicting with Saturday meetings, such as sporting and extracurricular activities as well as family events.
Changing our 88-year-long regimen is not always easy.
Getting the word out should be smooth because we have Facebook, Social Flight and our website to alert members and new-comers to this change.
I will also be letting our attendees at the remaining meetings this year know of the impending new schedule as the dates become available.
We appreciate your input and participation.
We also welcome any progressive feedback as the coming year gets underway.
